Hi! I’m Delia Main, a mother, designer and the heart behind Squidgets. As a parent, I know how important it is to give kids a safe space to understand their emotions. During my search, I found that the most effective resources were often very expensive whilst the more affordable options failed to capture my attention.
I wanted something different, a resource that a child could truly engage with. So, I created Squidgets—a playful, creative way to help children explore their feelings, one colourful character at a time. Our mission is simple:
Emotional literacy shouldn’t be a privilege... it should be accessible and fun for all!
With Squidgets children can learn to manage their emotions through our imaginative characters, our FREE activities and (coming soon) FREE mobile app. Because every child deserves the tools to handle life's challenges and grow into confident caring individuals.

Having emotional intelligence equips children with lifelong tools. By learning to recognise, express, and manage their emotions, children become better prepared to handle challenges and form stronger more meaningful relationships.

Why Ice Cream?
Just like our emotions, ice cream isfull of variety. It creates feelings of connection and reminds us to appreciate others’ differences, making room for empathy, joy, and laughter. It's a sweet way to help nurture current friendships, and even make some new ones!
